Beads of Courage (www.beadsofcourage.org) is an arts-in-medicine program that supports children coping with serious illness and encourages them to use beads as meaningful symbols of courage to commemorate milestones they've achieved throughout their treatment. This weekend I'll be returning home from my summer job at Camp Highlander and I look forward to creating a lot of new, great stuff for you guys!
