About Me
Bryan M. Beck
Bryan grew up in Boca Raton, Florida and moved back to his birth state of New Jersey in 2006 to pursue an education in Glass Art. He currently holds his Associate in Fine Arts in Glass Art from Salem Community College, his Bachelors of Fine Art in Glass Art from Jacksonville University and his Masters of Fine Arts from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. He Currently resides with his wife, business partner and fellow artist Yen-Ting Chiu Beck in Macon, Georgia where he operates his glassblowing studio Blazing Paddles Studio and their collective art space, stARTup Studios.
Bryan has had his work featured at Gallery 50 in Bridgeton, NJ and Silica Gallery in Philadelphia, PA, as well as Macon Arts Alliance, Middles Georgia Arts and the 567 Center for Renewal in Macon, Ga. He was the President of the Glass Club while attending Salem Community College as well as the Vice President of the Creative Art Society at Jacksonville University and the President of Southern Glassworks SIUC Glass Organization. He has been an active Volunteer at the International Flameworker's Conference in Carnies Point, NJ and the GAS Conference for two years.
